11th Annual Baehr Challenge Obstacle Course

The Baehr Challenge is a staggered-start obstacle course designed for all fitness levels and all ages including individuals, families and people with Parkinson’s. Our mission is to create awareness regarding fitness as a treatment for Parkinson’ disease while raising funds for scientific research for improved treatments and a cure. The Baehr Challenge is one of the top events in the Southwest for the Michael J. Fox Foundation and Team Fox, its fitness affiliate, and has raised more than $185,000 since its inception in 2010 thanks to your continued support and participation.

We’ve discovered along the way that it’s not how fast you can run/walk and complete the obstacles. It’s about how many people can you help along the way to take the challenge. It’s about a smile, a handshake, a pat on the back and a word of encouragement.

We invite you, your family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and acquaintances to join us and take the challenge to conquer obstacles in a morning of fun you will never forget.

The Obstacle Course event features:

  • — Pancake Breakfast ($5 per person donation appreciated)

    Registration Fees

    — Free for Children 5 and under
    — $20 for Students ages 6 to 17
    — $30 for People with Parkinson’s
    — $40 for Adults and increases to
    — $50 for Adults on day of event
    (Online registration ends at midnight on Thursday, March 26).

    Save time at registration check-in! Click here to download the Liability Waiver form and bring the signed form with you to registration check-in on event day.

    Please note that participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and the Liability Waiver form must be signed by a parent or guardian at the event in order to participate.

    All registrants will automatically receive a Team Fox fundraising page and access to the Fundraising HQ. Participants can then personalize their page by uploading a photo, creating a custom URL, setting a fundraising goal, and sending emails to invite your family and friends to join you team and donate to your campaign.

    Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising team.

    If you are creating a new team, please make sure your Team Captain is the first to register! All other members of the team will need to select ‘Join a Team’ when registering. There is no size limit for teams, though larger teams may be split into groups of 10-12 when competing on event day.

    We could use your help on event day with setup, traffic directors, greeters, check-in, raffle tickets, autograph banner, race starters, ice/drink patrol, retail sales, cleanup and take down.
